far-out funky flashback
Today we’re going back. To the 70’s! I recently designed these inspiration boards for one of my corporate clients for an upcoming 70’s themed event. Her vision went a little like this… bright colors, bean bag chairs, geometric shapes, prints, patterns, lava lamps and flower power! I seriously jumped back in time, let loose and had a ball! What else can I say except enjoy this far-out, funky flashback!

lori and robert...winter wedding
I adore winter weddings. Warm romantic elegance, snowy grounds, soft dreamy lighting and an inviting fireplace compliment this couple’s special day. Working with Lori and Robert on their wedding invitation suite was delightful. They are the sweetest couple. I am so excited to share with you the beautiful inspiring details from their wedding day. From their gorgeous classic monogrammed invitations to the charming mason jar favors, here’s a look at their lovely day.

hello note cards
The personal impact a handwritten note has on its recipient is immeasurable. Writing someone by hand is a decision to connect with them in a unique way. It demonstrates thoughtfulness and attention to detail. It undeniably suggests to them that they are important. You simply cannot replace the value of a good old fashioned card or letter.
I recently designed these gorgeous Hello Note Cards for a holiday gift exchange that I participated in during the holidays. I am {deeply} in love with the coordinating lines on the inside! As a perpetual crooked writer, there is something about sitting down with these pretty little lines and precisely aligning my words that brings me such joy.
Clean, fun and feminine, these gorgeous stationery cards feature a simple hello across the front creating an innovative and fresh appeal. There are so many reasons to choose a handwritten note. When is the last time you sent one?

This beautiful stationery was also featured in a giveaway back in December. You can read about it here. The lovely Kismet of The Unreal Bride was the winner! Congratulations, Kismet! These fabulous note cards have been packaged up and are currently on their way to India!

Our Hello Note Cards are available for purchase in my Etsy shop. Come take a peek!

alysia and jonathan
Okay, so it’s the dead of winter and we just got slammed again with a ton of snow last night. Loved waking up to a winter wonderland! The quiet of the snow… magnificent. A perfect opportunity for me to cozy up and put this stunning wedding together just for you.
Have you ever worked with an artist? I was given the opportunity to work with Alysia -a very talented artist- on her wedding invitations not too long ago. Working collaboratively with clients who have an artistic, creative eye is a real treat. As we all know, creative minds think alike. We respect one another implicitly and move gracefully through a design process with an incredible focused vision. Working with Alysia was a dream. She knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding invitations. We spent three initial sessions going through libraries of images, piecing together elements for the artwork on the cover and inside of the gatefold. What a fun process. I love what we came up with.
Thank you to the amazing Milton Gil Photography who generously took the time to provide me with these lovely images from their special day. And, be sure to head on over to Alysia’s website to see her amazing work.

stephanie and matt's wedding
When Stephanie and Matt asked me to design their wedding invitations, I knew right away it would be a super-fun, creative process. They wanted their invitations to emulate modern vintage with black and red tones, but most of all, they wanted uniqueness. They wanted their guests to anticipate a grand celebration without pretention while capturing their individuality. Below I am featuring our collaboration, but first, the newlyweds were kind enough to share a few personal photos from their special day. I adore the vintage jewel piece on Stephanie’s dress and the gorgeous headpieces!

This dazzling headpiece showcasing a portion of the invitation design was created by a close friend of the family. A beautiful heartfelt memento!

Our beautiful collaboration!
